1. Dental Assistant / Patient Care Associate

Looking for Superstar dental assistant & Patient care associate to join our team !
Salary range :$2200- $3000
Working Hours : 44 hours [Roster based]

Role & Responsibilities

Reception work

Handle patient enquiries
Dispense medication & give post treatment instructions
Billing , Coordinating & booking appointments
Coordinating lab cases

Dental Assisting

Scaling & polishing
Fillings
Implants & wisdom tooth surgery
Root canal treatment
Crowns/ Dentures

Requirements

Personality

Cheerful Hard worker – Willing to work OT in some situations Mature & understanding
Team player – Willing to help colleagues out
Willing to learn & improve
Able to handle stress & take criticism
Good communication skills -Able to communicate with team member & patients
Sense of responsibility – hand over duties properly

Skills

Basic knowledge of using computer
Previous dental experience (added advantage)
Training will be provided to those without experience
Able to commit to 2 weekday nights & 1 weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) at least , occasionally both weekends
Fluent in mandarin (added advantage)

2. Job Shadowing Programme

This unique job shadowing opportunity at Kin Dental Centre offers aspiring dental professionals a unique insight into the daily operations of a modern heartland dental practice.

Participants will get to shadow a clinician and understand the roles , responsibilities and jobscope of a dentist in a private practice setting.

Duration : 2 Weeks
Cost : $100

What you will learn:

Exposure to dental procedures and
Learn about dental practice and its daily operations
Practical Exposure: Observe a wide range of clinical tasks and understand the role of a dentist and their support staff.
Understand patient communication and patient care protocols such as infection control
Experience the use of modern dental technology and equipment
Network with experienced dental professionals
Gain practical insights into dental career pathways from dental school to bond serving and even private practice

This programme is ideal for students considering a career in dentistry or dental healthcare. Participants will shadow dental professionals through their daily routines, observe procedures, and learn about modern dental practice management.

Suitable candidates will be offered a 4 month internship programme at kin dental centre to gain further in depth knowledge and trade information

Payment is non refundable unless company is not accommodate the applicant for 2 weeks.

Job shadow programme is currently only open to local students who are above 16 years old.

If Jobshadow Dates Fall on Public Holiday or Off In Lieu, no make up dates will be given.
Jobshadow period will be strictly for 2 weeks , enquiries for 1 to 2 days will not be accepted .

Jobshadow spots will only be opened 3 months before eg. Dec 1st slot will only be available from Sept 1st onwards .

There will be no certificate of completion given as this is a shadowing experience for students interested in a dentistry career.

Job shadow Hours

Monday : 10am to 830pm

Tuesday : 10am to 830pm

Thursday : 10am to 830pm
Saturday : 930 am to 5pm

* Please note that there is 1 hour lunch break between 1 to 2pm and dinner break would be around 6 pm (flexible)
