What are some things to take note after wisdom tooth surgery ?

  1. Immediately post surgery , please take the required medication such as painkillers & mouthwash as instructed by the doctor and team.
  2. Soft diet maybe required for patients experiencing swelling and bruising
  3. Avoid smoking
  4. Avoid exercise for the next couple of days
  5. keep the wound clean by gentle rinsing to reduce chances of infection
  6. Swelling and discomfort is expected and for first few days and may persist in some cases up to 2 weeks
